The second MaxWork workout is SLED PUSH
Each athlete has 2 lengths of 50m to go The sled is pushed until its entire length crosses the line indicated.
Sled Push
- Both the sled and the athlete must be completely in front behind the start line.
- The sledge must always pass the 50m mark before changing direction
- As soon as a competitor has completed 2x 50m and the entire sled has passed the start/finish line the station is complete.
MaxWork DUETS
100m total for the duo
The resting athlete walks behind the working athlete. If the walking athlete interferes with other participants by, among other things, crossing lanes, the team will be penalised with a distance penalty of 10m, which they must cover in addition.
7 workouts in should be done together. However, it is up to each team member individually how far in distance or how many repetitions he/she will do. MAXWORK DUETY training follows the principle of "YGIG" (YOU GO AND GO), which means that when athlete 1 is working, athlete 2 is resting. Therefore, only one team member can be active. The number of shifts per station is arbitrary. A training station is complete when the entire distance or repetitions are done.
- For the women's category, the load on the sled is the weight of the sled
- For men 40kg + sled weight
- For mixed teams 40kg + sled weight
- For single sex teams WW sled weight
- For unisex teams MM 40k + sled weight
